A 1st edition (Rinehart colophon on the copyright page) of an ex-lending library copy of a late 1940s novel. Green cloth boards with gold lettering. The DJ is backed in brown paper with the flaps glued to the paste downs. The DJ protector is old style with black tape reinforcing the edges. Lending library stamps on the front paste down and FFEP (The Friendly Shop .). Not much wear to the DJ as it presents fairly well. The interior is clean and tight. A good to very good copy.
