Muammar Gaddafi - Man or Myth - first printing - The Libyan Revolution & his rise to power : Khadafy - Libya

Mideast Publishing Co., London. 1992. 340 pages. First edition, first printing. Book is fine. Green cloth stamped with gilt titles on spine. Pages and endpapers are clean; no writing within or underlining. Original dust jacket with 20 British pounds price intact on flap, alongside $38 USD and 228 Francs. The long out of print, seemingly suppressed title dives deep into the Libyan revolutionary's back story and his subsequent rise to power, daring to present a fair and balanced portrayal of Gaddafi despite overwhelming opposition by powerful shadowy forces within the US and Israel, per the author, who also alleges the Israeli intelligence has labeled him an Arab spy. An exceptional copy of the definitive Gaddafi bio, from the man that spent two months in Libya researching his subject while also serving as an advisor to several Arab states. Fine/Fine.
