26 page pamphlet + printed wrappers. The pamphlet is waterstained throughout, but firm, legible and complete, some pencil annotations in the margins to several passages, which would erase. wrappers loose at spine with split just holding. Good to good+. Scarce. * Details in a letter or sermon delivered at the time of the "Enormous crime" of the murder of Dr George Parkman (the uncle of Francis Parkman western writer and scholar). The crime centres around the loan with a security of a cabinet of minerals that were also secured to a 2nd lender. The men argued and Parkman's bones/remains were found in a science lab with Webster having disappeared. Seller Inventory # 3617

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
