Small ink inscription to the spine. Library bookplate, to the front paste down, and blind stamp to the front free end paper, of The Charles Myers Library in the National Institute of Industrial Psychology, a non-profit organisation which pioneered investigations in industrial psychology (now known as occupational psychology). Library barcode to the front paste down. Presentation stamp to the front free end paper. Stamp of Wellcome Library Institute to page 74. Illustrated with six plates. Collated, complete. Guy Pascoe Crowden (1894-1966) was a Professor of Applied Physiology. His connections with firms interested in industrial welfare work assisted in the development of occupational health. This illustrated work explores muscular work, fatigue and recovery, in three lectures, which were given to the National Institute of Industrial Psychology. In the publisher's original cloth binding.
