Yellow-beige cloth with attractive publishers logo in maroon on front and large title box and lettering on spine in maroon as well. Book is tight, square, particularly sharp-cornered and free of all markings and flaws inside and out. Top edge dyed black. Book is close to fine, but for some very mild soiling, almost unnoticeable. Near Fine or better. Unclipped Dust Jacket shows original price as "$1.50 At All Bookstores" on front and back flap.Very minor scuffing and shelfwear to edges of spine, top of spine. Back of DJ has an excerpt from the introduction by Carl Sandburg, and a flying eagle with a book - "Our Men Want Books - Send All you Can Spare". Copyright page states that "this edition has been designed by Arnold Bank and the decorations drawn by him." 1st/1st 367 pp. Seller Inventory # blb03359
