464pp of text plus 34 tissue-guarded plates to illustrate racial types: skulls, facial features with some engravings coloured. Scarce in this First Edition. Complete but in very Poor condition. Blue cloth grubby and worn esp half of spine cover missing. Pages roughly opened. Binding mostly holding by its strings with several pages adrift. However, text is clean and free of foxing.
