This is nicely bound first edition articles taken from The Empire Review that printed previously unpublished letters of Robert Louis Stevenson, bound in a designer full leather binding, titled and decorated in gilt, fitted with silk endpapers and inner gilt dentelles. The binding is signed B.F.H. and has an inscription to the front endpaper From Peggie September 1923. The book is 9.5 inches tall approx. and runs to around 41 pages, and is illustrated with The binding has some general edge wear rubbing, internally heavy foxing on and off, else in good general condition.
