This is a lovely item. Published in 1938, by the Daily Express, this is the original first edition of this volume, the third in the Rupert series of annuals that is still published today. This book is bright and clean, tight and presentable, in VERY GOOD condition, "Belongs to" box is filled in. Does show a little bit of rubbing to extremities and slight fading to cloth on the backstrip, and one gathering shows a crack - but overall VG. This is a real rarity and will make the perfect gift for the serious collector of Rupert annuals, or the lover of beautiful classic children's books.
