Seattle: National Investigations Commission on Aerial Phenomena [NICAP], 1963 (later The National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena). First edition of the April, 1963 issue. From the collection of noted UFOlogist Max Miller. Quarto, stapled printed paper, 6 pp. including covers, which do bear articles. Paper is notably age-toned but supple; several small chips, all at the same mailing fold on successive pages; else essentially unflawed. Very Good Plus. A surprisingly scarce piece of UFO history. A vintage issue of The NICAP Reporter, a bulletin-style brief-update format for reporting current UFO sightings around the world, a typeset publication on unpretentious paper which replaced the immediate former publication, "Interplanetary", both of course by the now-legendary NICAP. Some of the single- or double- paragraph items are: "Opinon Concerning Photos of Some Objects [in Cordoba, Spain]; "A Photo Has Been Made of A Flying Object [Bahia Blanca, Brazil]; "Flying Objects Flare Into View Over City [Seattle]"; "Strange Lights Seen Over Rootstown [Ohio]"; "South Dudley Agog Over Silver 'Dot' In Sky"; "Mystery Object Seen Over Western Washington"; "Red Ball Mystery In Sky [California]; and a wide variety of similar sightings. Ain't easy finding one of these at all, let alone Max Miller's. L103. Seller Inventory # 001125
