Seattle: National Investigations Commission on Aerial Phenomena [NICAP], 1963 (later The National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena). First edition of the February, 1963 issue. From the collection of noted UFOlogist Max Miller. Quarto, stapled printed paper, 6 pp. including covers, which do bear articles. Paper is notably age-toned but supple; Near Fine. A surprisingly scarce piece of UFO history. This is the fifth issue ever of The NICAP Reporter, a bulletin-style brief-update format for reporting current UFO sightings around the world, a typeset publication on unpretentious paper which replaced the immediate former publication, "Interplanetary", both of course by the now-legendary NICAP. Featured in this issue is a piece of multiple-province sightings in Argentina: "Argentina Favourite 'Refueling' Stop For Flying Disks". Just a few of the numerous other single- or double- paragraph sighting items are: "Boom and Crater - Object Seen By Hundreds"; "Official Prove Urged of Mystery Object"; "Strange Light on Bolt Mountain Puzzles Man"; " 'Sky Fires' Sighted Over City [in fact, several northeastern cities]"; "Sky Object, Shock Wave Pose Puzzle"; and a wide variety of similar sightings. Scarce and historic, from the well-preserved collection of Max Miller. L103.…
