Illustrated paper covered boards repeating the design of the dust jacket. 190 x 140 mm approx. Flat Spine, Illustrated end papers. 60pp.[1954] First Edition 1st printing of no 9 in the Numbered Noddy Series by Enid Blyton. VG/Good (Book- Extremities of boards colour rubbed Erased Impression of previous owner name and address to"This Book Belongs to Box" Binding sound. Dust Jacket- Colour illustrated front flap fold and The Children's Library advert to rear flap, non price clipped- cover 3s6d. Colour rubbed with nicks, 35mm tear to front panel near bottom corner with associated crease lines, spine a little sun faded and with loss head and tail of up to 20mm, no significant soiling and now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve).
