8vo. 8 volumes, set. First published between 1957 and 1975, volumes 6 and 8 are first editions, the other volumes are reprints. Original maroon buckram, gilt. Top edges stained pink. The bottom edges of the cloth of volumes 6, 7 & 8 show signs of damp-staining not affecting the text within. Volumes 4 & 7 have blank personal bookplates on the fly. Unclipped jackets are uniformly slightly faded on the spines with some nicks and tiny chips. The front panel of volume 6 is more faded. Contents clean. Good + in good + d/ws. A very useful reference work in good working condition.
