Quarto, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, a hefty total of 168 pages: 130 numbered pp., and a rather astonishing complement of 50 pages of nostalgic, artful ads, in front and in back. Very Good, with modest small peripheral wear and a bit of cover soiling, light dust on top edge - that's about it. Virtually no toning of the remarkable interior pages. Plenty of color images included by this time. See all scans. Feature articles: This issue is dominated by Admiral Richard Byrd's historic- and, for some, inexplicably controversial- Conquest of Antarctica, there are also engaging pieces on Working Teak in the Burma Forests, and Strange Tribes in the Shan States(of Burma).
