Only slight wear; Bright, solid book, text unmarked; World Scientific Series on Energy and Resource Economics Vol. 5; 8.98 X 6.06 X 0.87 inches; 220 pages; This book offers the first set of quantitative analyses of the results of deregulation of the gas wellhead process coupled with partial deregulation of pipeline transportation and product storage. This complex process which involves taking pipelines out of the field markets as product purchasers, and creating spot gas and pipeline space markets has changed the nature and extent of services for gas at the burner tip, and the level as well as volatility of prices for these services. Using econometric tools of analysis, the authors concentrating on these changes uncover surprising findings in contrast to what regulatory reform was supposed to accomplish.Contents: Quantitative Study Number One: Regional Markets for Gas Transmission Services (V Marmer & D Shapiro); Quantitative Study Number Two: Competition Among the Few in the Natural Gas Pipelines Industry After Partial Deregulation (N Moshkin); Quantitative Study Number Three: The Basis Differentials as a Measure of Performance in Partially Deregulated Pipeline Transportation Markets (P W MacAvoy); Quantitative Study Number Four: Profitability of Natural Gas Storage Resulting from Federal Deregulation (N Moshkin); Quantitative Study Number Five: Revising the Model of Gas Wellhead Prices and Quantities for Deregulation.…

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. International shipments that qualify for Global Priority shipping will be sent that way so long as the book fits (well packaged) in the flat rate envelope. Please note that USPS no longer offers international Surface Mail but because we are located in Canada we can offer this option.
Please note that the International shipping rate is for books 2 lbs or more fully packaged. If your book weighs less I will mail 1st Class (air mail) and reduce the S&H to the current 1st Class rate.
To our US customers, Please note shipments to the US usually arrive in 7-10 days, not a guarantee but an observation. Please note that due to Canadian travel restrictions, we are no longer able to cross the border to drop our parcels off at the US Post Office. We are temporarily raising our shipping rates to the US. When the travel restrictions are lifted, the cost will return to normal.
