Leather (Brown) Bound book. 1840 First edition. Volume II. Fishes. Cover has some slight wear, but overall is in EXCELLENT condition for its age. Gilt lettering on spine is still present and bright. Illustrated frontispiece and tiltle page. Contains 31 tissue fronted hand coloured plates, all in very good condition and free of foxing. Many antique print dealers 'harvest' and sell these individually. Framed these Jardine prints tend to go for a lot. Some foxing on first few pages. But overall, EXCELLENT condition. Priced to sell. Published by Edinburgh: W. H. Lizars. BR (Box 183).
