Nelson: The New Letters

Nelson: The New Letters, Edited by Colin White, Hardcover, First UK Edition (2005). The book was published by The Boydell Press in association with The National Maritime Museum and The Royal Naval Museum. Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has some bumping to the spine ends. The dust jacket shows a little general shelf wear. There is a minute indentation to the dust jacket's back cover, which has gone through to the back panel of the book. A very nice, tight and clean copy overall. (See pictures). This book is the result of a major undertaking, the Nelson Letters Project. Of the twelve hundred or so letters gathered since 1999 from collections worldwide (a 20% increase in known correspondence), over five hundred are published in full for the first time in this book.
