This work is complete with 157 illustrated copper plate engravings (41 Maps/Elevations, 109 Illustrations), including large fold-out map and the plate depicting the "Death of Captain Cook." Plates in near fine condition, with only occasional toning. Archival tissue repair through "Directions to Bookbinder" leaf, now stable.
