Decorated by Eric Gill. Edited by M. R. Ridley. Small format red hardbacks (gilt illustration on the front covers, gilt lettering to the spine’s), some ink marks, nicks and light shelf wear on the edges of the covers and spines in VGC, no Dj covers as issued. Nice and clean pages with small marks and light shelf wear on the outer edges, previous owners name and date (1943) written on the edges of the frond endpaper on 5 of the volumes, small creases on the edges of the pages, small foxing marks inside the front and back covers and endpapers. Gilt edges on the outer edges of the pages. The set is in VGC for its age with some shelf wear. 1041pp including Notes, glossary. A collectable set.…

Refunds and Returns
Any book, you feel does not fit the description, may be returned for refund of
purchase and postage costs, within thirty (30) days from receipt, provided it is
returned in the same condition as it was received. Please, however, inform us
first. All other returns or refunds will be at our discretion.

and taxes which are levied once the package reaches the destination country when

USA Tariffs
The executive order going into effect on August 29, 2025, removes a long-standing “de minimis” tariff exemption for most goods valued under USD $800. However, this change does not apply to “informational materials” like books, magazines, music media, which are still exempt from tariffs under US law 50 USC 1702(b)(3).
US Customs and Border Protection confirmed the exemption on August 28, 2025, stating that the “duty-free de minimis treatment shall remain available for [sic] goods covered under 50 U.S.C. § 1702(b) – such as certain donations and informational materials.”
