Folio. 706 pp. with 63 plates (54 engraved plates, 8 maps, 1 folding map). Hardcover, bound in later red morocco over marbled boards, edges cut and sprinkled red (rather tightly on the fore-edge). The binding rubbed but solid; old repair to verso to the final plate; the rare blemish and very light offset.
