Blue cloth over boards, title and decorations stamped in black onto upper board and spine, 8vo (8-1/4 inches tall), pp. xvi, 310, index, illustrated with charts, one a fold-out. Volume with a rub to top edge and a tiny closed tear at head of spine. DJ with light wear and toning, shallow chips and closed tears to spine ends and rear panel. Edward Albert Filene was an American businessman and philanthropist. He is best known for building the Filene's department store chain, his decisive role in pioneering credit unions across the United States and for creating change in the sales and research divisions of American business.
