1969. Chatto & Windus. First Edition, Second Impression. A Hardback with Dust Jacket in Very Good condition. Publisher's original bright red boards with lettering in gilt to spine. Spine and page block remain firm and tight. A strip of age-toning to ffep. Dates read by previous owner noted in pencil very neatly on ffep. Mild staining at top and bottom of page block which also present on spine of Dust Jacket. Otherwise the pages are clean, bright and unmarked. The Dust Jacket is not price clipped. Mild sunning to spine and fold over hinges of Jacket but titles still easily and completely legible, and mildly to edges of Jacket. A little age related toning/wear to edge of jacket and two minuscule open chips at top of spine of jacket. Overall the book is surprisingly well preserved for its age, it remains firmly bound and internally clean, a nice 1st Ed/2nd imp. copy in VG condition. Seller Inventory # FRNC001
