1894-1896. Seven (7) issues of The Nidiologist The Nidiologist was first publishedin Alameda, California in September 1893. In 1896 the journal changedits name to The Nidologist and publication changed to New York City.Publication of The Nidologist suspended after volume IV, no. 9, 1897and merged into the Popular Science Monthly. Wood in his BooksellerInventory [p.492], remarks that, "This well-edited magazinepractically continued the defunct Ornithologist and Oologist. Itpublished during its relatively short life many papers of importancefrom the pens of scientific ornithologists throughout the country.". Seller Inventory # 10364
