Dr. Franklin E. Hoskins explores the story and understanding of the Exodus while traversing the actual route, from the Nile River to the Jordan River in Palestine. The book includes 85 illustrations (many vintage b&w photographs and several maps, including a large fold-out map at the rear of the Route of the Exodus). The book is warmly inscribed by the Author to a former owner. It is bound in finely ribbed dark green cloth with gilt titles on cover and spine. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are a but bumped at the corners and less so at the spine tips with some discoloration in the upper front quadrant of the front cover and some spots of finish loss on the rear board. Inside, the extensive insciption is the only mark I have found but the book has a good deal of foxing, typically associated it would seem with the glossy paper of the photo illustrations. None of the foxing is bad enough to obscure the text and indeed, most is light. The fold-ouyt map is in very good condition, without any tears along the fold lines. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
