Oblong 8vo. 8.25 x 11 in. Heavy paper boards, printed with 3 color panels of ink-wash paintings on each board, metallic silver titling. Some bowing to boards, with light soiling to edges of boards and endpapers. Small stain to text block bottom edge, with Chinese text printed to fore edge, Chinese and English text inside. Preface by Hou Hanru and introduction by Martina Koeppel-Yang, with "Republic of Fritz Hansel," a dialogue between artist Fritz Hansel and Yang Jiechang at rear. Filled with color reproductions of Jiechang's ink-wash prints, paintings, photography, and installations, printed on fine, pearlescent paper, with several leaves folding out to show wide, 3-panel images.
