Six panels to spine with a red and black panel, gilt lettering, raised bands, and decorations. Books are tight, square, relatively sharp-cornered particularly given age, and free of markings and flaws inside and out, other than ex-libris plates of Laurence Robertson. All text block edges are brightly marbled to match boards.
