She brings her background in educational television to her essays on imagery, culture and learning published in anthologies and magazines in both Canada and the United States and to her teaching. From 2002-05 she co-edited Espritpublications an online publication of personal narratives that explore the connections of body, mind and soul. Her (unpublished) memoir A Due, tells how music, memory and the imagination transform loss and grief. Her novel in progress, Dreaming Georgina is a re-imagining of the life of Georgina Stirling, a 19th century lyric soprano from Twillingate, Newfoundland.
