This volume's condition is rated Poor because it lacks the final 13 p. of the Index of Species at back (pp. 841-853, supplied here with photocopies printed on one side only and with smaller margins than the original pages) and the back wrapper; otherwise the volume is about Fair, with the badly chipped front wrapper and pages at front and back loose but present and the rest of the volume shaken and bound precariously; spine paper is mostly gone; pages have small bottom corner creasing; text clean. Paginated viii, 361-853, with many wonderful black-and-white in-text illustrations of molluscs. Size: 9 x 6 inches [otob: 12r].
