Notes et Croquis de Raffet mis en ordre et publies par Auguste Raffet avec 257 dessins inedits graves en relief par Amand-Durand

An elephant folio measuring 18 x 13 bound in half polished burgundy leather over marbled boards. The leather is rubbed along the seems to the point that the spine had become detached along one whole seem and is lacking about 50%. Consequently the front hinge is cracked, but both are still tight and functional with marbled endpapers. The contents are very good with 140 pages of text and 48 plates in the rear. Some minor occasional foxing. Tom 54.
