A bit shelf worn but still a solid reference copy and quite uncommon with unopened pages. Collects Morris' notes on his excavations at Aztec Ruin, New Mexico on a room-by-room basis between 1916 and 1927. It was the author's intent to 'set down each and every condition observed that might aid in explaining the building of the pueblo, the cycle of its inhabitation, and the agencies of its destruction, and make possible the reconstruction of the cultural history of those who found shelter within its walls.'
