Bound in tnat nice Clarendon cloth. Solid, VG copy. Xvi, 578pp plus (2) pp and another 8 pp of the presses titles for sale. There is an errata slip for one correction (not the four at the end of the table of contents which were noted and printed correctly. A colleague online here makes the case for this then being a second issue of the first editon, and he may be correct. Very nice copy, a solid VERY GOOD (say, 7/10), with the gilt imprint on the spine being a little faded. Worthwhile copy.  PMM 386: Dibner 165. 500.00 714.3 Provenance: McGill University (alma mater!) with only the bookplate identifying it so no marks etc.714.3.
