A Poor 1st Edition hardcover in aged, rubbed and soiled blind-stamped red boards. Corners are bumped and rubbed. The backstrip is bumped to the spine ends with small losses and the fabric on the front hinge has 2 inch separations at both top and bottom. Internally, very good with armorial bookplate affixed to the front pastedown (crest of Rowland family). No writing or stamps, unmarked pages. Not lovely but a sound, useful copy.
