Gernsheim 51 Original green cloth backed decorated paper-covered boards. Owner's early bookplate, and small private library bookplate, on front pastedown, text lightly foxed, but photographic plates are quite fresh and clean, binding scuffed and moderately worn at extremities, else a very good copy 54 pages, illustrated with 9 original albumen prints by J. A. Spencer, depicting ancient carvings in ivory. 4to.
