Period green leather bindings with marbled covers, with matching green leather label on the front covers of Countess Talbot. All hinges are in good order, split in the centre of the spine on one volume (handle with a bit of care), another volume with the colour rubbed off around the spine edges. Tidy internally, the text is complete, additional engraved general title pages at the start of all but 3 of the parts. Mostly light toning and marking, some foxing to some of the title pages and in some other areas. One volume with the original green wrappers visible to the inner margin of the title pages, the original front cover wrapper was A1.
