Dark blue cloth with gilt-lettered spine, no obvious faults. f/piece + xii + 332 + 7 unfolding maps, 28 further plates ex-pagination (several with 2 images), 4 maps in text; no obvious significant faults being clean, tight and unmarked. Scarce jacket unclipped and clean but spine sun-darkened, top spine slightly rubbed and nicked and top edge all just slightly rubbed as long kept extending fractionally above cover (will add protective sleeve when ordered). Includes detailed study of the history of Laxton in Nottinghamshire and reprints the text of the 1635 'Booke of Survaye' of Laxton and Moorehouse. Authors 17 cm x 25 cm. Seller Inventory # 012846
