Wrappers. Large 8vo, 128 pp. Very good copy. Largely (pp. 1-102) a collection of articles about Strindberg. At rear are two sections, Marges and Anthologie, with contributions on other subjects, including Lettre à Jean-Luc Parant by Michel Butor. This issue has a large label fixed to the back inside cover, which states: L'edition originale de ce premier volume de la collection d'Obliques est constituée par un tirage de 150 exemplaires sur Velin Ivoire d'Arches, comportant en signet un sculpture de Jean-Luc Parant et revêtus d'un signature en miroir de Michel Butor . . ." The signature "en miroir" (actually, in mirror image and also flipped) is on a small card bound in opposite the first page of Butor's article, on top of the photograph of the sculpture by Parant. This is copy no. 26 of 124 numbered copies, there were also 26 lettered copies for the editors and contributors, for a total of 150, Very good to near fine copy, lower tip slightly bumped.
