Due to age and condition of leather, these books will need to be handled with extreme care. Years are 1829-1832. 260 hand-colored plates, all colors are magnificent and VIVID. The supplements have arguably the best plate coloring of the 29 volumes (27 main volumes plus 2 supplemental volumes). All have been professionally rebound, all have complete spines, save for an inch and a half missing on the first volumes spine, a small chunk on the second volume, and a small chunk on the 20th volume. Gilt tooling on spines, six bands. Volumes are: 1 & 2 Theorie de La Terre, 3 & 4 Mineraux, 5 Epoques de La Nature, 6 - 9 Mineraux, 10 Vegetaux & Animaux, 11 - 13 Animaux, 14 - 18 Mammiferes, 19 - 26 Oiseaux, 27 Tables des Matieres, Supplement Volume 1 Mammiferes, Supplement Volume 2 Oiseaux.
