Second printing of first edition. From the Royal School of Mines library ("Professor's Library"). Maroon-coloured cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, white shelf mark to spine, 195 pages, many illustrations from photographs. As well as library stamp and pencil note to front free end paper there is the stamp of Imperial College of Science and Technology Library dated 16 Oct 1914, to title page. Condition: A clean, sound copy; a little sunning to spine and front board. Library marks but no traces left by readers.
