About the Author
Marlene Wisuri's photograpohs have been exhibited regionally and nationally in numberous one-person exhibitions, as well as in Finland and Norway. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree fron the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and taught photography and photographic history for over twenty years at several colleges and universities. She has served as photographer or photo editor for a number of previous books. She is currently the director of the Carlton County Historical Society in Cloquet, Minnesota.
