Xvi + 319 pages inc index + 54 woodcut illustrations of town and landscape scenes, bound ina halt calf with marbled paper boards and endpapers. uncut edges and top edge gilt, content Very Good +, gilt titles on spine, raised bands, slightly rubbed and corners have a little surface loss. old inscriptions on endpapers from 1949 and one dated 1885 "To you my dear Steve on this Christmas day with all my love, Allan. 1885". Very good. A ramble though the quiet places and pastoral towns in England. *Fine Binding.

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
