In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. There are some light marks to the spines. The hinges are slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's ink inscriptions to the first free endpapers of both volumes. Internally, firmly bound.
