Set is in good condition for the age. Set has sone generalized shelf and usage wear, extremity abrasions. Some splits at the tops of the spines. Some wear from use. This set is photogenic and difficult to show wear in the pictures. In very good condition for the age. Abrasions. Generalized wear. The spine color is even. In good condition for being over 100 years old. First edition set. Printed in 1909. Set is complete. These are the original maroon gilded cloth bindings. Not leather. This set is highly photogenic. I tried showing details of the extremity abrasions and shelf wear. This set has more wear than shown in the pictures. These display well on a bookcase. Some extremity damage. Set is over 100 years old. If condition is critical, I have sets in better condition. This set has some condition flaws but still displays well as a complete antiquarian set.
