this is the privately printed eddy press edition of old plantation days privately published by mr rutledge in, i believe 1913 as a christmas present. this is the rarest and earliest version of old plantation days. no one seems to know how many copies were printed but i have heard speculation of between 100 and 250 copies. this copy has a minor repair to head and heel of the spine and the endpapers have been replaced. this edition contains 18 stories. 13 of them appear in the first trade edition listed elsewhere. 5 of the stories appear only in the 1913 privately printed edition.
