Old Rifle Scopes

This comprehensive collectors guide takes aim at more than 120 scope makers and 60 mount makers and features photos and current market values for 300 scopes and mounts manufactured from 1950-1985. A brief company history of each maker is given, along with a discussion of the scopes and/or mounts manufactured by that maker. An overview of telescopic sights is also included, as well as a definitive discussion of scope optics and mechanics.

This is the only book available that allows proper identification and evaluation of old rifle scopes and mounts. Gun collectors, dealers, gunsmiths, hunters, shooters, antique and pawnshop dealers will find this a must-have reference.
