No Binding. Condition: Good. First Edition. This is an attractive item, being an original hand painted poster created by a Donald A. Keith to advertise a School Sports Day Event, held at a School in England somewhere on June 16th 1937 at 2.00pm, the poster measures 30 inches by 22 inches approx. and is nicely painted in a thirties period style, featuring the classic image of The Discobolus of Myron in the centre, along with four vignette paintings of Football Skills, Athletics, Hurdles, Running and the Shot Put signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner, The poster has some general edge wear, with some corner pinholes, short edge tears, and a noticeable heave crease line along top edge, (this could be flattened out) else in good acceptable condition A NICE INTERESTING SURVIVAL WHICH WOULD MAKE FOR AN ATTRACTIVE FEATURE FRAMED Size: Double Elephant - over 25" - 50" tall.
