Madeleine Van Hecke, PhD is a retired educator and psychologist who brings her compassionate understanding of people to the story she tells in her debut novel, Once You Know. The author of two nonfiction books, Madeleine is using her golden years to return to her first love of fiction writing. She currently lives in Illinois and spends winters in Florida.
