Hardback. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 142 pages; photo-illustrated endpapers, and a map in text; from the dj: "Operation Crossroads Africa is a private, voluntary organization which takes American and Canadian undergraduates to Africa during their summer vacations to do useful manual labor in the bush with their African student counterparts. .Dr. Robinson (Director of Crossroads Africa) says that the "darkest" thing about Africa is American ignorance of the continent. Crossroads works to relieve that ignorance, and to relieve the equal ignorance of Africans about America." Book condition: Three of the cover corners have small or moderate bumps; Dj has a 1.0 inch edge-tear , and other minor edge wear and tear.
