About this Item
First American edition. Bump on foredge, very good or better lacking the dust jacket. Poet Donald Justice's copy with his ownership Signature. Laid in is an autograph note from "Mark" returning the book to Justice who had "loaned it to me in Iowa City, of course." We think it's possible (but do not positively assert it) that "Mark" is the poet Mark Strand, the only Mark we are aware of who was on the faculty of the Iowa Writers' Program.
