From the personal collection of Dr. Don Noble, Professor Emeritus of the University of Alabama and the host of Alabama Public Television's 'Bookmark' author interview program. Second printing stated. Author's first novel, scarce in any condition. Maroon boards, green cloth spine stamped with gold & red. Evidence of previous moisture along bottom edge transferred from interior of DJ includes several small chips to the board papering; small red mark on front of DJ [see photo]. Book block has green inking along top, light foxing at edges; very faint price-stamp ($6.95) and wear at top corner of front free-endpaper. Hinges tight; spotless interior. If not for the light mar on the cover, I'd rate this Very Good. Price-clipped DJ has just a bit of edgewear, very little overall shelfwear, beautifully preserved under mylar despite the aforementioned moisture; I'd call this Near VG if I could. And the rear flap author photo is worth the price of admission, I kid you not. Additional details and photos happily provided upon request.…
