First Modern Library Edition. This is one of the more difficult balloon cloth titles to find. Bound in plum-colored flexible cloth (spine #5) the book is FINE PRISTINE CONDITION. Solid binding, bright gilt on spine and front board, beautiful plum topstain. There is a neat small orange bookseller paper sticker from Lindsay's on the inside front board which in my opinion only adds charm to this copy. Contents are BRIGHT AND CLEAN with no writing in the text. Copyright page states "First Modern Library Edition 1930." The dust jacket is FINE - BRIGHT AND CLEAR with the 95 cent price on the inside flap. On the back of the dust jacket 175 titles are mentioned indicating a 1930 printing and a fist edition first printing. Now protected in an archival-quality dust jacket protector.
