FIRST EDITION with Illustrations by Howard Chandler Christy. Beautiful volume, bound in green pebbled cloth with a oval b/w paste-front - which has a small chip to its edge, else a Very Fine copy. Gilt titles to front and spine (still bright). Pictorial end-papers - clean, no markings at all. Printed on thick glossy stock. A tight text block - with minimal light foxing to front blank end-papers only. Very Mild shelf wear (extremities). Noted: Press of Braunworth & Co., Brooklyn, N.Y. as printers and bookbinders on copyright page. A very lovely copy. Gift condition. Protected in a mylar slip.
